If Iceland doesn’t get your heart pumping in anticipation, perhaps a better option is our fall journey throughout the best of Spain. The vibrant streets of Barcelona pulse with life at every corner, and the surrounding mountains and coastlines are just begging to be explored. Our adventure continues with a focus on the incredible wonders throughout southern Spain: Andalucia. The rocky, sun-baked region embodies much of what the world thinks of as Spanish: flamenco, tapas, matadors, and bullfights. A true mosaic of cultures, we discover the Moorish splendor of the Alhambra in Granada to the whitewashed villages like Ronda perched dramatically atop cliffs, while the sun-soaked beaches of Costa del Sol invite endless relaxation. Andalusian cuisine, with tapas, jamón ibérico, and refreshing gazpacho, offers a taste of its rich and diverse heritage set against the backdrop of olive groves and the Sierra Nevada mountains. You must not miss the splendor of this iconic region in southwestern Europe and we’re honored to share its all-encompassing sites, tastes, and sounds with our travel club.
