I'm living in Chiang Mai right now and it's a wonderful place to visit. With a wat on every corner, how can you go wrong?! If adventure is what you're seeking, also be sure to check out Flight of the Gibbon, where you can spend all day zip lining above the jungle!

Thailand is fairly high on my list of things to see, though the list is quite long, so "fairly high" might just mean in the next few years.
