The Transfăgărășan (also known as DN7C) is a developed mountain road that crosses the southern section of the Carpathian Mountain of Romania. It starts near the Bascov village and stretches all 71 miles, passing through five tunnels and connects two of the country’s most historic regions, Transylvania and Wallachia.
