Words and pictures don’t do justice the mind blowing experience that is Iguazú Falls! Our photography travel club just returned from a small group tour in Brazil and this was certainly the highlight! For the first time since 1996, the damn north of the river was opened due to higher than average rains. This caused the falls to rush 15 times higher than average and the water level raised an astounding 20 meters! When we arrived there were literally rainbows in ever direction and huge amounts of mist from the pounding falls. The mist generated from Iguazú was so high that it felt like rain in some parts. We look forward to planning another group tour to Brazil to see more of this stunning country.
