Zakynthos is nicknamed “the Flower of the Levant” by the Venetians who possessed Zakynthos between 1484 to 1797.
Some of the famous landmarks in the island includes the Navagio beach, numerous natural blue caves that are cut into cliffs around ape Skinari and numerous wide sandy beaches which attracts a number of tourist during the summer months.
