Pura Ulun Danu Beratan or Pura Bratan is a a well known 11-storey Shaivite water temple in Bali, Indonesia. It was built in 1633 on the shores of Lake Bratan near the mountains of Bedugul. The temple is also used for offerings to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu.
The lake itself serves as the main reservoir for the most parts of Bali so it is not only functional but also considered to be holy by many of its residents.
