The marabou stork is the largest stork on record and can be found in Africa, south of the Sahara, usually near landfill sites. It can grow as tall as 150 cm with a wingspan of 2.6 meters. It is often called the undertaker bird due to the shape of the bird from behind.
It does look a bit menacing, doesn’t it?
