Almost 1/6 of the world’s entire population can be found in India with 94% of Hindus calling it home. In a survey done by Pew Research Center, it was discovered that 8 out of 10 Indians said that religion is important to them.
The country provides constitutional freedom to practice religion safely and freely. It also provides protections for minorities against discrimination towards their faith and associated practices.
