Our travel club does so many group tours around the world we sometimes forget the abundant beauty in our own back yard. Time and time again we’re reminded of how exotic places at opposites ends of the earth can look so similar. On a group trip to Kenya we remember how driving through parts of the Great Rift Valley looked just like areas of Ireland, New Zealand, Hawaii, & California! This picture is another great example of mother natures mimicry. Northern California is filled with amazing hikes and waterfalls that are reminiscent of Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, and other South American countries home to the Amazon rain forest This California waterfall was taken in Mendocino; an awesome place to visit with stunning coastal landscapes, sea kayaking, redwood forests, beaches, and of course waterfalls! Stay tuned for some group camping trips to this iconic Northern California town.
