Did you know that Brazil celebrates Valentine’s day on June 12th instead of February 14th like most countries?
Since “regular” Valentine’s Day falls close to the world famous Carnival, Brazilians celebrate the day of love months later. Dia dos Namorados (Lover’s Day) is pretty much the same: chocolates, flowers, and romantic gifts.
