Have you joined our Kenya Safari trip yet? Traveling to the northern part of the country will allow us to see some of the unique wildlife in the World. Common sightings of elephant and lion will be at the top of our list during this “photographic hunt” along with Kenya’s ‘northern five’; oryx, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, and lesser kudu. The reticulated giraffe (seen in the above image) is a subspecies of giraffe native to the Horn of Africa. It lives in Somalia, southern Ethiopia, and northern Kenya. There are only 8,500 individuals living in the wild so seeing one in the wild has to be an experience that anyone would want to add to their bucket list.
