Did you know that Borneo is the third largest island on the planet? Borneo is also affected by rampant deforestation but thankfully, it still retains a large portion of the rainforest and is one of the best places to look at wildlife!
This is why Borneo is home to an amazing diversity of wildlife from pygmy elephants, giant apes and monkeys, to big cats and flying frogs. You’d be shocked to know that there are quite a lot of animals that can only be found in Borneo! You can find about 222 mammals, 420 species of bird, 394 kinds of fish, and about 100 amphibians.
