Costa Rica All Inclusive Safari!
TEST DATES TBD
Costa Rica, a small Central American country bordered by Nicaragua to the north and Panama to the south, is a tropical paradise that packs a huge punch for its size. Known for its incredible biodiversity, stunning landscapes, and “pura vida” lifestyle, Costa Rica has become a top destination for eco-tourists, adventure seekers, beach lovers, and anyone looking to unwind in nature. Home to over 5% of the world’s biodiversity, Costa Rica is a haven for nature lovers. You'll find sloths, monkeys, toucans, sea turtles, and countless plant species. The country is a global leader in sustainable tourism, offering eco-lodges, conservation efforts, and nature-focused activities. And finally, a highlight for many is the warm, friendly culture! “Pura vida” (pure life) is more than a slogan—it's a way of life. Costa Ricans, or Ticos, are known for their warm hospitality and laid-back attitude.
Doka Estate Coffee Plantation - This is not only beautiful farm with amazing coffee, we'll also learn about the production, harvesting,
processing, and roasting of the beans. Fascinating stuff whether you like one of the world's most consumed beverages or not.Vida Campesina Farm - This organic farm lets us experience life in the Costa Rican countryside with a farming family that grows typical crops and practices new sustainable agricultural techniques. The experience begins with a demonstration of sugarcane juice production using a manually-operated sugar mill. Then continue into the cultivated sections of the farm where visitors will see and learn about common Costa Rican crops such as coffee, bananas, plantains, sugar cane, and more. Also on the farm are various animals, whose organic waste is converted to biogas and organic foliar fertilizer. The visit ends with freshly harvested vegetables for lunch and a tortilla making demonstration!
Arenal Volcano National Park Lava Flow Hike - From an eruption in 1968, today's trail is an exciting walk through the environments thriving in the event's aftermath. Arenal Volcano is surrounded by lush rainforest and
second growth that cover the old lava flows and river sides. There are many viewpoints to enjoy throughout this well-traveled path and our local guide will always be on the lookout for wildlife sightings.
- Optional Early Morning Bird Watching - With an abundance of environments, birders will surely enjoy the sightings. For those who are interested, this kind of activity is included and offered on a requested basis. Enjoy the early mornings as the songs of birds fill the air and while you might not see close to the 900 recorded species in Costa Rica, there will certainly be a lot seek out.
Wetlands Boat Tour - This could be compared to a floating safari throughout some of the country's spectacular wetlands. While gently cruising down one of Costa Rica's interior waterways, you may be able to see a variety of resident and migratory birds, up to three different species of monkeys, iguanas, sloths, turtles, caiman, and other surprises. These rivers, streams, lagoons, and mangroves provide an ideal habitat for many species as well as a relaxing cruise for us.
Pierella Butterfly & Ecological Gardens - Located in the Sarapiquí lowlands, this family-run garden was established 30 years ago as a project to breed butterflies for export. Over time, it has been transformed into an area of 5 hectares, changing from a simple butterfly nursery to a true ecological garden that now hosts a great diversity of environments and wildlife to explore! Join our naturalist guide and experience Pierella's great birding trails with amazing photo opportunities and wildlife everywhere we look! One of the highlights is getting to know the founders of this park who will welcome you with their 'pura vida' approach to life and conservation.
Rincon de la Vieja National Park - Famous for its abundant volcanic activity, explore Las Pailas Trail within the National Park. In addition to an amazing volcano in the distance, there is usually plenty of wildlife to photograph and an impressive tropical forest to explore. A trail will be picked based off the recommendation of our local guide who has gone through this area for years and knows special spots sometimes overlooked by tourists traveling on their own.

Hacienda Guachipelín: Positioned at the foot of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, adventure beckons at this boutique resort. Thrilling experiences include swinging like Tarzan on the many cables and ropes on the Canyon Canopy Course (more than just zip-lining!). Relax your weary muscles in natural volcanic thermal springs or spectacular waterfall pools (optional).
Llanos de Cortez Falls: Considered one of the best waterfalls in the country - great swimming by the falls no to mention amazing photographs! These natural features are common in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica - plenty to see and do within a small area. Sustainable and accessible tourism has been a focus here for years!
