Mexico offers a unique combination of contemporary city life alongside historic richness. And let’s not forget the excellent cuisine and superb beaches! Below are some of our travel clubs favorite highlights of Mexico to get you started on a group tour here.
1. Any trip to Mexico should include a visit to San Miguel de Allende. It is a stunning town which has been an UNESCO World Heritage site since 2008. Here you will enjoy many handicraft shops, fascinating 17th-century cathedrals, beautiful botanic gardens, organic restaurants, and some wonderful places to stay.
2. A short ride on the ferry from Cancun, Isla Mujeres is a peaceful small island full of historic charm and a great place to soak up a more relaxed atmosphere. “Isla Mujere” means “the isle of women” and originates from a love story about a pirate and a local woman. With few cars on the island, people use
mopeds and bikes to get around here and most places to stay are friendly and family run. There is also some amazing snorkeling and diving around the island with old ruins and statues to be explored beneath the blue.
3. Head to Tulum to see the marvellous Ziggy Beach with its miles of pristine white sand and sparkling turquoise water. With beautiful palm trees, you’ll find a beach bar on the sand, as well as hammocks and sun beds. Overlooking the beach, the Mayan Ruins are an archaeological site, no short of fascinating, to explore
If this gets your mouth watering for a Mexico vacation then don’t fret and come with us on our group tour to Mexico!
